The Evolution of Direct Air Capture

The first generation of DAC technologies proved that removing CO₂ directly from the air was possible—but only at very high cost. A second wave of innovators began optimizing individual cost drivers, lowering expenses but still falling short of true scalability.

Spiritus represents the third generation of DAC—a breakthrough approach that optimizes all major cost drivers simultaneously and charts a clear pathway to permanent carbon removal at under $100 per ton.

At the heart of Spiritus’s DAC technology is a unique sorbent chemistry and structure that transforms how carbon is captured and released.
